I confess, I’m not a gym rat or uber-athlete in any sense, although I’m committed to being fit and eating clean. You’ll find me running on the treadmill, speed walking, doing pilates or yoga most days, but I get bored by the monotony of a workout and need my tech distractions. I listen to music, talk on the phone, or check email on my mini iPad while I work out. Multi-tasking is a personal specialty.
While I like to look pulled together while working out, I don’t like spending a ton of cash on workout gear. My go-to solution for workout clothing is found in the Champion brand. Champion makes fashionable and durable fitness gear and I can buy something in every shade I like without breaking the bank. My paint-splattered seamless leggings and chartreuse trainer top shown are both made with wicking technology to keep me dry while working out, so I can go from gym to a meeting in a pinch.
I love any gadget that helps me get it done, including my FitBit and the MyFitness app on my iPhone. When I got my TKO running belt it did the impossible, I can fit my keys, phone, iPod and more all in the two expandable pockets and zip it all in. It’s water-resistant (so no fear sweating) and has reflective trim for night time running or walking outside.
My TKO belt carries all my techno workout gear, but doesn’t weigh me down and looks super cool, in an uber-athlete kind of way. So with all my gear and gadgets ready, I have no excuses left. Time to get off my butt and hit the gym.
